The Snorri Foundation operates multiple summer programs with the goal of building and strengthening ties between Icelanders and North Americans of Icelandic descent: •The Snorri Program: A 5-week adventure for Americans and Canadians of Icelandic descent, ages 20-30. •Snorri Plus: A 2-week program for anyone over the age of 30, whether of Icelandic descent or simply fascinated by Iceland. •Snorri West: A 4-week program for Icelanders ages 20-30 to visit settlement areas in North America and see how Icelandic culture has been preserved and celebrated in the US and Canada. •Snorri Alumni Internship: An opportunity for alumni of Snorri and Snorri Plus to spend up to three months in Iceland over the summer volunteering. •Snorri West Alumni Internship: An opportunity for alumni of Snorri West to return to North America and volunteer.
